My name is Christina Nickson, but who am I?

I’m a public relations and communications professional who loves the creative side of telling a story. I enjoy figuring out what people actually want to see, read, or engage with and finding the best way to communicate it, whether that’s through social media, video, photography, writing, or design.

Currently, I work at Fantastic Finds as a Social Media Lead and Bridal Stylist. I manage and create content for the store’s social platforms, from planning what we post to filming, editing, writing copy, and developing campaigns around bridal, prom, and special occasions. One of my favorite parts of the role is that I get to see both sides of the brand. I spend time creating the content people see online, but I also work directly with the customers we’re trying to reach.

Before Fantastic Finds, I worked in digital marketing with the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA), where I wrote social and blog content, supported events, and helped communicate important information to riders. I’ve also worked in social media and event management for American Fifth Spirits and gained additional communications experience with the Rotary Club of Lansing and Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center.
